HTFH_Ayiti
was officially formed in March of 2002
Its role is to implement the mandates of HTFH-Canada, and to suggest
and help plan future projects for the betterment of Haiti's poor.
Currently, the committee is based in Labadie, and is made up of
its citizens. However, there are plans to add members from Port-au-Prince
as HTFH also works in the capital. A broad range of ages, as well
as both sexes are represented to mirror HTFH-Canada's make-up and
to assimilate the Haitians to a more democratic system within decision
making committees.
This committee has no "power" of its own. All final decisions,
though made with the input of HTFH-Ayiti, must come from HTFH-Canada.
