Born
of a promise made by Fathers John Duarte and Jim Higgins to the people of Labadie,
Haiti in 1996, Hearts Together for Haiti
is now a registered, Canada-based charitable organization with an accredited Board
of Directors, working for the betterment and education of the people of Haiti,
primarily of Labadie and its surrounding communities.
The
implementation of new schools, various medical, educational and nutritional programs
are at the heart of HTFH's work.
The
Board of Directors consists of priests, teachers, lawyers, accountants, executives
and private entrepreneurs.
